Blend of sour imperial spiced red ales aged for one and a half years in oak bourbon barrels with a late infusion of Masala Chai tea from Portland’s own Steven Smith Teamaker. Chaild’s Play features layers of roasted red malts and bourbon barrel character tied together with the classic chai spices including cloves, cardamom, black pepper and ginger root. 9% ABV

To celebrate the harvest season, we are excited to offer our interpretation of “graff,” a relatively obscure beer-cider hybrid. Harvest Graff is a blend of sour blond and red ales aged in wine and bourbon barrels for up to two years, then naturally fermented with raw juice from Northwest-grown apples and lightly infused with a blend of spices. 8.8% ABV

Made in collaboration with our friends at Stockholm Brewing, Forest Gold is a blend of sour wheat ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 16 months with dried rose hips and golden chanterelle mushrooms. The chanterelle, or “kantarell” in Swedish, is delicacy found in the forests of both Sweden and Oregon, lending an earthy and mildly fruity flavor to the beer with a hint of taffy. 5.5% ABV

To celebrate our collaboration with Far Yeast Brewing Co. of Yamanashi, Japan, this live barrel is a blend of sour wheat and red ales aged in oak wine barrels for two years with a late infusion of matcha green tea powder and jasmine flowers. Matcha Matcha Man showcases the floral notes and fruit taffy aromas of jasmine with the oceanic, green tea flavors of matcha tea. 6% ABV

Sang du Chêne, meaning “blood of the oak,” showcases sour blond and triple ales aged in three distinct oak vessels: toasted French and American oak puncheons, Cognac brandy hogsheads and aged wine foudres. Oak influences are the highlight, providing flavors of toasted sugars, vanillin and spice that are complemented by the bright acidity and fruity character of the base beers. The 2017 Sang du Chêne captures the marriage of wood and beer at its finest! 9.7% ABV

Cuvée Du Jongleur 2017 - 8 oz $8 , 4 oz $5.5

Originally released in 2008, Cuvée du Jongleur, or “Blend of the Juggler,” consists of select red, triple and quad sour ales aged in oak barrels for up to three years. Making its first appearance in over a decade, the 2017 project pays homage to the original blend, juggling a variety of base beers that offer clean and complex flavors through the lactic fermentation process that has come to define our Northwest Sour Ales. 9.4% ABV

Oregon’s Own is a special project featuring 100% Mecca Grade malt from Madras, Oregon as a blond base for souring. The beer was aged in Willamette Valley Pinot Noir barrels. We then added Bing cherries from Mosier, Oregon to a portion of the blend-–a nod to the Mecca Grade’s history of farming and agriculture here in Oregon. 7% ABV

Primordial Noir 2017 - 8 oz $8, 4 oz $5.5

Primordial Noir is a blend of imperial red ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with Northwest-grown Bing cherries and spices. A concentrated precursor to our Sang Noir project, Primordial Noir features a more robust bourbon and cherry presence with notes of roast malt, molasses and baking spices. Stay posted for a bottle release of this blend in the coming months! 10.5% ABV

Bauman's Cider Company: Clyde's Dry 16 oz $6.50, 8 oz $4.50

My Grandpa Clyde was born in 1921, on the farm where he would live his entire 92 years. Clyde’s Dry cider is my tribute to his life and his love of the farm. It is a blend of more than a dozen varietals, including sweets and sharps grown on the family farm and loved by Grandpa, farming until his very last days. It draws its tannic character from the blend and the addition of some locally-picked Manchurian Crab apples. 6.9% ABV

Cooper's Hall Rose - 6 oz $9

A great example of a wine made in the vineyard instead of the winery. Our winemaker, Phil Kramer, tended these vines differently than the Pinot Noir he used for his red wine. This is a thoughtful, beautiful glass of rosé with balanced acidity; currently showing off some bold minerality. All vines are Pommard clone, 35 years old, own rooted, dry farmed and hand harvested. 13.9% ABV

Celebrating Northwest regional offerings of craft beer and wine, Valley Flora combines our sour red ale with Willamette Valley-grown Pinot Noir grapes using traditional brewing and winemaking techniques.
