A Northwest-style interpretation of the traditional raspberry ales of the old world, Framboise Northwest is blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to two years with locally grown raspberries. Clean, tart and packed with fresh fruit flavor, this sour beer blend celebrates the bountiful berry farms of the Pacific Northwest. 6.8% ABV

This Northwest sour ale is a blend of wheat and blond ales aged in oak barrels for up to 14 months with strawberries and vanilla beans. Featuring Northwest grown Totem strawberries, the 2015 project captures the essence of fresh strawberries with subtle notes of oak, vanilla and fruit preserves. 7.1% ABV

Apricot is a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 14 months, then naturally fermented with Northwest-grown apricots and aged on the fruit for an additional six months before packaging. As one of the first and longest-running blends in our portfolio, Apricot has become a quintessential part of Cascade Brewing’s identity as a producer of Northwest sour ales. 7.1% ABV

This easy-drinking Northwest sour ale features a spiced rye base beer aged in oak wine barrels with candied ginger and lime peel followed by a late addition of fresh ginger, lime and wildflower honey. A collaboration project made with our friends at Mysterlee Brewing in Seoul, South Korea, Odi Berry features sour red and rye ales aged in oak wine barrels with Korean odi (mulberry) and Oregon Bing cherries. This enticing blend starts with aromas of dried elderberry and cherries, followed by flavors of brambleberry, baking spices, and hints of cedar with a light malty finish. 5.2% ABV

To celebrate the harvest season, we are excited to offer our interpretation of “graff,” a relatively obscure beer-cider hybrid. Harvest Graff is a blend of sour blond and red ales aged in wine and bourbon barrels for up to two years, then naturally fermented with raw juice from Northwest-grown apples and lightly infused with a blend of spices. 8.8% ABV

Cerise Nouveau 2022 - 8 oz $8.5, 4 oz $6

To commemorate France’s Beaujolais Nouveau Day held this year on Thursday November 17th, we are excited to announce a limited release of an old house favorite. Cerise Nouveau 2022 is a lightly-carbonated blend of sour red and blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for nine months before barrel fermentation with fresh Bing cherries and aging for an additional four months. Like a classic Beaujolais wine, Cerise Nouveau exudes aromas of fresh cherries, dark summer fruits and gamay grapes. A bientôt! 7% ABV

Vlad the Imp Aler has come to visit from the year 2020. One of the most iconic projects in our 20-year history of brewing and blending sour beer. A combination of quad and blond ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to 2 years with orange peel and coriander, Vlad delivers a fresh acidity and light malt sweetness with notes of bourbon, citrus and spice. 11% ABV

A blend of double red ales aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 22 months with Pinot Noir grapes from Oregon’s famed Willamette Valley wine region. The most regal in our series of “Sang” projects, Sang Royal captures complex notes of summer berry fruit, plum, oak and spice, with a vibrant acidity and soft tannic structure. 9.4% ABV

Blend of sour imperial spiced red ales aged for one and a half years in oak bourbon barrels with a late infusion of Masala Chai tea from Portland’s own Steven Smith Teamaker. Chaild’s Play features layers of roasted red malts and bourbon barrel character tied together with the classic chai spices including cloves, cardamom, black pepper and ginger root. 9% ABV

Date Night is a small-batch blend featuring Imperial Reds and Spiced Quads aged in bourbon barrels with rum-soaked dates and mulling spices. Warm flavors of rum, dried dates, caramel malts and spices are met with a smooth lactic acidity and mellowing sweetness. 10.2% ABV

Frite Gaulois (freet gaul-WAH) is a blend of sour Saisons, Weizens and Blonds aged in white wine barrels for up to 15 months with white cherries, coriander, orange peel and sea salt. A firm oak presence is supported by aromas of citrus and spice leading to a tart and fruity finish. 7% ABV

We’ve come to take you from your complicated lives… the complicated part- not the lives part I mean.” Inspired by the Zombie cocktail (& ‘The Cranberries’) popularized by Donn Beach we took our Petite Cranberry and hit it with Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Lemon & Lime zest, with just a hint of spices for an intense Fruit Punch Sour. 5.4% ABV

La Familia Cider was founded in 2017 by the Gonzalez family, first-generation Mexican immigrants. The company combines a love for Oregon’s craft cider scene with flavors and ingredients that reflect the family’s Mexican heritage. Cooper's Hall Rose - 6 oz $9

A great example of a wine made in the vineyard instead of the winery. Our winemaker, Phil Kramer, tended these vines differently than the Pinot Noir he used for his red wine. This is a thoughtful, beautiful glass of rosé with balanced acidity; currently showing off some bold minerality. All vines are Pommard clone, 35 years old, own rooted, dry farmed and hand harvested. 13.9% ABV

Enticing floral blueberry aromas jump from the glass followed by juicy blackberry flavor with a hint of black pepper and a crisp, dry finish. 5.3% ABV

La Rita Loca - 250ml $6

La Rita Loca features our sour blond and wheat ales aged in tequila barrels and oak wine barrels for up to a year with late infusions of lime zest, Oregon coast sea salt and ground coriander. In the midst of this crazy life take some time to unwind with the margarita inspired La Rita Loca. 7.1% ABV

One way or Another - 250ml $6

Based on a collaboration recipe originally designed with our friends at Bruery Terreux®, the 2017 One Way Or Another combines whole, Northwest-grown marionberries and Meyer lemon zest with sour blond ale aged in oak barrels for up to 16 months. The finished blend captures notes of blackberry pastry, fresh citrus and spruce tips with a lively acidity and dry finish. 7.7% ABV

Pear 2021 - 250ml $6

The 2021 vintage of Pear features our sour blond ale aged in oak barrels for up to one year followed by a secondary fermentation with Northwest-grown pears. With the help of a white wine yeast strain, Pear 2021 showcases delicate aromas of pear, apple cider, and honeydew with a crisp white foam and a tart, refreshing finish. 6.5% ABV

Rose City Sour - 12 oz $6

Celebrating Portland’s reputation as the City of Roses, we are pleased to offer Rose City Sour, a blend of wheat and blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 14 months with rose petals, rose hips and hibiscus flowers. Rose City Sour captures the delicate floral aromas of fresh roses matched with notes of dried cranberries, pomegranates and a hint of white pepper. 8% ABV

Ruby Lime features our sour wheat ale aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 10 months with late infusions of hibiscus tea and lime leaves. Pouring a deep ruby hue, this mild and refreshing sour ale captures notes of pomegranate and cranberry from the hibiscus tea complemented by the lime leaves’ sweet citrus and floral aromas. 5.5% ABV

Staying Hoptimistic - 12 oz $4

There’s no denying that these are trying times, so we are here to spread some positive vibes with Staying Hoptimistic. This sour golden ale was aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 10 months before dry hopping with Strata and Sabro hops.
