Roadside Chai features sour red ale aged in oak wine barrels and foudres for up to two years then infused with our own masala chai spice blend. Like the traditional masala chai (meaning “spiced tea”) served from road side stalls across India, this limited release offers flavors of black tea, cinnamon, clove, peppercorns, cardamom, ginger and vanilla complemented by the roasty, dark fruit notes of the base beer. 8.5% ABV

This Northwest sour ale is a blend of blond ales that were aged in oak wine barrels for up to 14 months with more than 13,000 pounds of fresh apricots from the Pacific Northwest. A flagship project in Cascade Brewing’s sour beer portfolio, Apricot offers flavors of fresh and dried apricot fruit complimented by a tart acidity and lingering notes of apricot preserves. 7.3% ABV

Based on a collaboration recipe originally designed with our friends at Bruery Terreux®, the 2017 One Way Or Another combines whole, Northwest-grown marionberries and Meyer lemon zest with sour blond ale aged in oak barrels for up to 16 months. The finished blend captures notes of blackberry pastry, fresh citrus and spruce tips with a lively acidity and dry finish. 7.7% ABV

A collaboration with our friends at Far Yeast Brewing in Yamanashi, Japan, this unique project is a sour beer interpretation of Far Yeast’s award-winning Kagua Rouge. Made in collaboration with our friends at Burial Beer Company in Asheville, NC, Chêne des Fous (shen de-FOO), meaning “Oak of the Fools,” is a blend of sour triple ales aged for up to 18 months in French oak barrels with dried sumac, fresh apricots and toasted American oak chains. Intense oak flavors are met with savory lemon and dried fruit notes from the sumac and a subtle stone fruit aroma. 8.4% ABV

Citrus Noyaux consists of sour blond ale aged in oak wine barrels for up to two years with fresh orange, grapefruit and lemon peels and apricot noyaux (noy-OH). We extract noyaux kernels from the pits of locally sourced apricots by hand and add them to the beer, imparting notes of almond and maraschino cherry that are complemented by the juicy fruit flavors of the citrus peel. 8.4% ABV

A collaboration project made with Mikkeller, Bean-to-Barrel Triple features a blend of barrel and foudre aged sour triple ales with toasted Oregon and French oak and a late infusion of cocoa nibs sourced from Bean Geeks Craft Chocolate in Copenhagen. Celebrating Bean Geeks’ “bean-to-bar” chocolate-making methods, Bean-to-Barrel Triple offers aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak sugars combined with the light pear and citrus fruit notes of the sour triple. 9.4% ABV
